UMK 2012
Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2012 was the first edition of Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu (UMK), the music competition that selects Finland's entries for the Eurovision Song Contest. The competition consisted of six shows that commenced with an introduction show on 27 January 2012 and concluded with a final on 25 February 2012. The six shows were held in Helsinki and hosted by Yle youth radio channel YleX DJs Anne Lainto and Joona Kortesmäki.

Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2013 was the second edition of Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu (UMK), the music competition that selects Finland's entries for the Eurovision Song Contest. The competition consisted of four shows that commenced with the first of two heats on 17 January 2013 and concluded with a final on 9 February 2013. The four shows were hosted by Yle youth radio channel YleX DJs Anne Lainto and Ile Uusivuori.

The four shows were hosted by Yle youth radio channel YleX DJs Anne Lainto and Ile Uusivuori.

The competition consisted of four shows that commenced with the first of three semi-finals on 7 February 2015 and conclude with a final on 28 February 2015. The four shows were held at the YLE Studios in Helsinki and hosted by Rakel Liekki and Roope Salminen.

The competition consisted of four shows that commenced with the first of three semi-finals on 6 February 2016 and concluded with a final on 27 February 2016. The four shows were held at the YLE Studios in Helsinki and hosted by Finnish actor/singer/rapper Roope Salminen and 2013 Finnish Eurovision entrant Krista Siegfrids.

The competition consisted of one final on 28 January 2017. The show was held at the Espoo Metro Areena in Espoo and hosted by the 2013 Finnish Eurovision entrant Krista Siegfrids.

The competition consisted of one final on 7 March 2020. The show was held at the Mediapolis in Tampere and hosted by 2013 Finnish Eurovision entrant Krista Siegfrids with Yle youth radio channel YleX hosts Viki and Köpi hosting from the green room.

The competition consisted of one final on 20 February 2021. The show was held at the Mediapolis in Tampere and hosted by Antti Tuisku with commentary in Finnish by Mikko Silvennoinen, in Swedish by Johan Lindroos and Eva Frantz, in Russian by Levan Tvaltvadze and in English by Katri Norrlin and Jani Kareinen.
