Plus, gaming guru Jordan Erica Webber identifies the video games to look out for in the year ahead.

For fans of smart assistant speakers, there are now several options available with screens attached. Jon Bentley recruits two families to carry out long-term tests, hoping to grasp what the latest offerings are like to live with. Jess, who lives with her boyfriend on a canal boat in the West Midlands, invites the G Team to come up with three space-saving solutions to increase the living area in her rather cramped abode. Jon Bentley tests the latest fully wireless headphones with the help of a parkour specialist, a rising rapper called Lady Sanity, and a top British athlete. Ortis Deley travels to Finland at the invitation of gaming giant Ubisoft, whose Scandinavian office has produced the latest version of the hit multi-player die-and-retry motocross game `Trials Rising'. Plus, a look at the new Amazon Alexa, a bicycle with the Alexa smart voice-assistant built in, and tips on how to make cheap calls abroad during Brexit and beyond.

Jon Bentley considers getting some serious skin bling, as he, Ortis Deley and Georgie Barrat stop off at the Vivid Ink parlour. Could the latest thing in electronic artistry help the resident needlesmiths become still more creative? The team also assesses the work of scientists at the world-renowned California Institute of Technology, who are now using augmented reality to allow people to see with their ears and cybernetics to help them walk on just one leg. Plus, a report on the latest full-frame mirrorless cameras from Nikon and Canon.

The team take a look at some of the latest gadgets to help with running in the aftermath of the London marathon, and there is also a report on a prestigious gaming awards ceremony. Craig Charles asks the G Team to spruce up his get-up using tech - without a drop of botox in sight. Jon Bentley heads to football club Forest Green Rovers to give their pitch a once-over using three of the hottest robotic lawnmowers around, just in time for the grass-cutting season, while YouTuber Theo Baker goes behind the scenes at the finals of the Premier League's recent Fifa tournament, meeting some of the greatest players to ever pick up a controller along the way. Stateside, Ortis Deley and Georgie Barrat test out a brand new virtual world gaming experience.

Glaswegian funksters Shaka Loves You get some gadgets to keep their creative juices flowing while they are on tour, Jon Bentley photographs some high-end cars with the latest mirrorless cameras, and Ortis Deley challenges a drone to keep up with a Porsche.

Jon Bentley acquires three top-notch smartphones recently landed from China, so sets out to determine which - if any - is worth considering come upgrade season. Ortis Deley is hands-on with an exciting new gizmo that promises to transform the future of Hollywood special effects, while Jordan Erica Webber looks at one of the most anticipated video games this year. Plus, former England rugby star James Haskell asks the G Team for their help to cook an indulgent three-course meal to impress his new wife, Chloe Madeley.

In a special edition of the show, Craig Charles, Ortis Deley, Jon Bentley and Georgie Barrat try to find out whether technology can help them beat professionals at their own games. Craig takes on a champion pool player, putting his faith in gadgets to help him rack up a point for the team, while Georgie dons a hard hat to see if she can out-perform a group of builders. Jon is tasked with creating a floral display for a high-end hotel, and Ortis tries to win a place on the famed blue-badge tour guide training programme.

Jon Bentley spends his day learning how to become a top beatboxer while testing out the latest portable Bluetooth speakers on the market. Google is turning 21, so in celebration, Ortis Deley delves into the company's archives to see how it came to be one of the world's most successful tech brands, before gazing into the future to see what the next step in the journey could be. 13. Summer Special
Craig Charles, Jon Bentley, Georgie Barrat and Ortis Deley head to South Uist in the Outer Hebrides, where they check out the latest in land yachts, test long-range photography tech, employ underwater drones while whale watching and use a translation app.
