A drag reality show where the premise is simple...take a bunch of drag queens to an actual summer camp and see who can outlast the rest to claim the crown 'Queen of Camp'.

The fifth season of Camp Wannakiki was announced on April 5, 2022 via the show's Instagram account, with a post announcing live auditions would take place at the Austin International Drag Festival on April 23rd of that same year. On May 10th, 2023, the cast of Season 5 was officially revealed on the show's Instagram page. The following day, a Youtube video was released introducing each contestant.
