Hard-Boiled Hitmen

This was my first film I ever made, shot on an iPhone 13, with no lighting or proper cast, just a bunch of friends I gathered with a 20 page script. Now, overtime, I look at this and feel very ashamed of it, because it's no where near my best, especially with what I'm working on now, but I try to remember I was 13 when I made this and that I put a lot of work into it. The film follows three hitmen hired by their crime boss to pursue one last mission before he retires. Except, rather than an assassination, they are hired to rob from one of the biggest criminals in the state. Funny thing is, I posted the trailers and teasers, and the movie is done, but I still need to hear back from two more festivals in August and September before I know if I can release it or not. The film overall is a good idea, I think one of the biggest problems is it was only one day of shooting. I really like Brian Molta's performance as Ghengis, he is scary, intimidating, and just perfect for the role. I learned a lot from this movie, and my next film, The Red Chase, will be much better. We are shooting on a DSLR now, and we have a 100 pg script for the film. It's already looking a lot better.
