This Movie was a solid debut, the acting was good, the cinematography was amazing, the sound design was good. My only criticism would have to be of Brendan Fugere, at some points I didn’t quite feel like his character was the most believable, particularly the part where he smokes a cigar like someone who’s clearly never smoked. The Curse of Captain Silverbeard pushes the limits on how good a short film can be with no budget. The action scenes add so much, all the fighting is really enjoyable, and it's complemented by a great score. There are some good character moments, like the argument scene, and the campsite scene.
