1. Anna and Carl
Anna and Carl are like two crazy kids in love. Carl is a proud redneck through and through who spends his days growing pumpkins, tending to horses and sharing fresh chicken eggs with his family and friends. Anna is a beautiful countrywoman with a passion for horses (and for life). Carl likes to dumpster dive, go to garage sales and auctions, always in search of his next prize (or just something really quirky to collect). A bargain to Carl is like the Holy Grail. Anna thinks it's all crazy, but she appreciates the fact he manages to get so much cool stuff for nothing or next to nothing. She may look proper, but this is one lady who wants her wedding feast to feature foods like pig, chicken and squirrel.
2. Suzy and Ron
Ron and Suzy live in the horse town of Norco, Calif. They have three horses, two dogs and many escaped chickens in and out of their back yard. This beer-drinking, laid back, horse-loving couple has to come out of their usual redneck element, as they attempt to plan and pull off the wedding of their dreams.
3. Geneva and Kyle
Geneva and Kyle are 18 years old, redneck and in love. Deep in the Appalachian Mountains of Tennessee, this worry-free couple chose the public golf course with its busy driving range for their chapel. Fearing neither flying golf balls nor Geneva's traditional parents, they're going whole hog with all the fixings -- pork rinds, ground souse meat and pickled pig's feet. Attire is camo for all the guests. A tractor brings in the bride. That is, if the groom survives his own bachelor party -- a full-on bottle rocket war where the fireworks are aimed at each other. Somehow, these two are set on showing their friends and family that they're young and fun, but their marriage is the real deal with a beautiful country-themed wedding in the great outdoors.
4. Christy and Kevin
Christy is a vet tech who's never met a stray animal she didn't bring home. Kevin's first love is hog hunting, followed by his love for his hunting dogs. These two camo-wearing lovebirds are planning the ultimate redneck wedding, complete with ATVs, mattress surfing and mud wrestling. But with Christy's sister, Sherri, insisting on a more traditional wedding, the country couple may have to overcome some roadblocks before they can take their four-wheeler down the road to wedded bliss.
5. Gail and John
John and Gail, two newspaper delivery carriers, are planning a redneck bash on the eastern shores of Maryland. In addition to an archway constructed out of beer cans, newspapers being used as tablecloths, and a good old-fashioned mechanical bull at the reception, John and Gail are going to have chickens released instead of the traditional dove release after the two say "I do." John's mom, whom they live with, isn't thrilled when she finds out the wedding is taking place in a combination flea market/bar/convenience/gas station. Also, Gail's Internet- ordered wedding dress comes in 20 sizes too small! It'll come down to the wire as the bride-to-be tries to button up all the loose ends of her wedding - not to mention her wedding dress. One thing is for sure. This paperboy wedding will be headline newsworthy!
6. Tami and Brad
In Puyallup, Wash., Tami and Brad are getting hitched the northwest redneck style, with rain, mud, guns, quads and plenty of beer guzzling fun. The only problem is, Brad's mom doesn't like it one bit. She's a wedding planner and was hoping her son would get married the old-fashion way - in a church with flowers, dresses and class. With mom changing the couple's plans and Brad procrastinating with getting the wedding site ready, this tomboy bride is getting nervous.
7. Amber & John
8. Kelli and Ron
Kelli and Ron are both from small towns in western Pennsylvania. After 11 years together and a 7-month-old baby girl Emily, they have finally decided to tie the knot redneck style!! Kelli & Ron love to crash cars, so they have decided to get married at the demolition derby!!! They plan to crash their way into matrimony, literally! After the service, six more cars will join them in a larger demolition to celebrate!!!! Kelli is going to be wearing her beautiful wedding dress as she crashes into Ron, and her mom is not happy about it, especially since she is the one who bought it! After the demolition they will all head to the Hunker Fire Hall for the reception, where they are expecting 180 guests. Ron, however, has been excessively inviting guests to the reception, even strangers he meets while he is towing cars! The caterers are very concerned that the hall is too small, and they will not have enough food, but Ron thinks they are just being snobby! Will the reception be a success, or will there be wedding guests sitting outside in the cold?
