1. Chapter V: "Divided Argentina"
The fifth chapter of the series and first of the second season, begins with the Battle of Caseros of 1852 (which had already been narrated in the last chapter of the first season) won by the Army, and therefore, the arrival of Urquiza to the power. This episode ends with the assumption of Bartholomew Miter to the government in 1862 and its beginnings as the first Constitutional President of the Nation already unified after the integration of the State of Buenos Aires and the Argentine Confederation, and the implementation of the constitutional reform of 1860.
2. Chapter VI: "The Apostles of Free Trade"
It is 1865 and the War of Paraguay begins. This chapter culminates in the beginnings of Domingo Faustino Sarmiento in his political and military life.
3. Chapter VII: "Civilization and Barbarism"
This episode begins with the assumption of power by Domingo Faustino Sarmiento, in 1868, and ends with the fighting in 1880 by the Federalization Law of Buenos Aires.
4. Chapter VIII: "The Conquest of the Desert"
As the chapter is titled, the Desert Campaign commanded by Julio Argentino Roca begins in 1879, seizing Aboriginal territory to divide it between those who had financed the campaign and the military who had participated in it. This eighth and, therefore, last episode of the second season, ends with the suicide of Leandro N. Alem in 1896.
