The Glorious Lady
By this point in her short career, Olive Thomas had it down. She commanded the screen effortlessly. Although still not getting the close-up crying thing down, I have noticed that seems to be the way it was then, over-emoting the cry. She is extremely effective at handling the range of emotions required of her in this film, and despite the story itself being less than stellar, it all works because of her. The supporting cast also does a fine job.
